Michigan Dining
With over 2000 jobs each term, Michigan Dining is the largest student employer on campus. We're always looking for students who enjoy working with people and want to be a part of a team. Building Maintenance
Positions that maintain an environment conducive to comfortable living and learning, while meeting our needs for well-being and growth. Gain experience in building repair, replacement, installations and maintain cleanliness of buildings. Majority of positions are from May to September.


Summer Camps, Conference & Event Planning
Gain experience in the development and organization of events and conferences. Assist customers in registration, program information, processing payment information and answer overall general questions about campus and events. Further develop quality service skills and organization.


University Unions
University Unions has an array of employment opportunities that provide students with flexible hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to gain valuable skills that can be translated to future career endeavors. Positions are available across our three student unions (Michigan Union, Michigan League, and Pierpont Commons) and related departments which include Campus Information, the Center for Campus Involvement, Conference & Event Services, and Palmer Commons. Information Technology
Positions that utilize your knowledge in information technology education, services, and support to residents, programs, staff, and faculty that will enrich their chosen academic and personal pursuits, now and in the future. Provide advice and guidance to students and staff regarding application, software, and diagnose and resolve problems.


Marketing
Work in a busy university outreach (parent orientation, campus days, admissions, social media), marketing, web design & maintenance and graphic design environment, assisting staff with design & web projects and completing tasks.


Office & Guest Services
Positions across campus to provide quality service to students and visitors on programs offered. Perform clerical duties, office projects, mailings, filing, and communication via phone or email.


Residence Education
Positions to foster academic, cultural, intellectual, and social development of students living in the residence halls. During the academic year, over 400 individuals are employed in roles as diverse as Community Center Assistant, Resident Advisor, Diversity Peer Educator, or Michigan Learning Community Resident Advisor.

ResStaff works for both the Fall/Winter semesters and the Spring/Summer semesters. Both have different deadline dates and application forms. The majority of these positions are hired through Residence Education Student Staff Selection.


Recreational Sports
The Department of Recreational Sports hires hundreds of student employees each term to fill numerous positions in our facilities and programs. Student employees are needed as lifeguards, membership services assistants, entrance monitors, intramural sports supervisors, officials, and many other positions.
