Serving as a starting point for those navigating U-M, Campus Information shares personalized information and connects people to resources that will unlock all that the University of Michigan has to offer. As an Information Assistant, you will have the opportunity to be "the face" of the University of Michigan. Position Responsibilities: - Serve as a resource to patrons by having demonstrated knowledge of campus and community happenings; - Communicate effectively through in person, phone, and online interactions; - Assist Unions staff with CIC outreach initiatives through blog and social media posts; - Assist with the management of publication inventory and circulation; - Properly log and track items that are lost and/or found in the Michigan Union, Pierpont Commons, and/or the Michigan League; - Serve as phone operator when needed; - Attend one-on-one meetings with Customer Service Manager 2 times per semester and all bi-weekly staff meetings; - Perform other duties as assigned in timely and efficient manner.

A COVID-19 vaccination and booster shot (when eligible) is now required for all staff under a revised U-M vaccination policy.
