Student Program (SP) Involvement Coordinators - Center for Campus Involvement

Student Program (SP) Involvement Coordinators support the Center for Campus Involvement mission & vision through programming and events in University Union spaces (Michigan League & Pierpont Commons) and across campus. This role involves planning, executing, and assessing a variety of campus events, and includes tasks such as booking spaces, managing budgets, working with vendors and campus partners, marketing, and assessment. SP Involvement Coordinators work 12 hours a week, including office hours, regular staff meetings, and program attendance. Occasional night & weekend hours are required in this position. SP Involvement Coordinators are required to staff both their own events as well as others programs coordinated by the SP team (based on need). SP Involvement Coordinators will also staff a minimum of two UMix Late Night programs a semester and may be required to staff events during other high-risk times, such as night football games and St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

Individuals must be able to work well with a diverse team, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate a positive attitude. The ability to be responsible, organized, dependable and will to take initiative is a must. Experience in customer service, event planning, developing, and/or hosting student-initiated activities is desired. Work study preferred.
