General Responsibilities:
Gain experience in the development and organization of events and conferences. Assist customers in registration, program information, processing payment information and answer overall general questions about campus and events. Further develop quality service skills and organization.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Greeting and assisting walk in customers
• Answering main phone system lines
• Providing information regarding all conferences and camps
• Processing lodging reservations for short term housing and residence halls
• Typing and editing letters, reports and spreadsheets
• Downloading and processing conference registration forms
• Collecting and processing credit card information
• Sending confirmations and receipts to clients
• Preparing conference materials for on-site distribution
• Preparing conference evaluation summaries
• Assisting with on-site registration/check-ins
• Serving as a liaison between conference coordinators and conference guests
• Compiling, sorting and distributing summer conferences and camps materials
• Sorting and distributing all US and campus mail
• Picking up and delivering materials to various campus locations

Office Hours:
The Conference and Event Services office is open 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday through Friday

Time Commitment and Work Schedule:
Clerk C’s are part time during the Fall and Winter Semesters with hours ranging from 8 to 20 hours per week depending on availability. Extended hours and opportunities available for team members available during Spring and Summer Semesters up to 40 hours per week.

• Knowledge of MS Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• General Filing and Organizational Skills
• Proficient and Effective Online, Oral and Interpersonal Communication
• Effective Time and Project Management in an Autonomous Environment
• Previous Customer Service Experience Preferred – Not Required
